This Privacy Policy explains how Big Ridge Studios ("we", "us") handles information in connection with the mobile game Mycotopia (the "App"). It is written to meet the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR/UK GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), and Apple App Store requirements.
In short: We collect as little as possible. The game's own analytics are anonymous. The only data that can identify a device comes from ads (Google AdMob) — and in the EU/UK we ask your permission first, and you can play with non-personalized ads if you decline. We never sell your personal data.

a. Information you give us — Display name (optional). If you type a name for the leaderboard/score screen, it is stored only on your device and is not transmitted to us.
b. Gameplay & usage analytics — via TelemetryDeck. We use TelemetryDeck to understand, in aggregate, how the game is played (how often and how long sessions run, how far players progress, which features are used) so we can improve it. TelemetryDeck is privacy-first: it uses anonymized, non-reversible identifiers and does not collect IP addresses, names, email addresses, or the advertising identifier. We cannot use it to identify you. Data is processed on EU-based infrastructure. (Legal basis: legitimate interest in improving the App — GDPR Art. 6(1)(f).)
c. Advertising — via Google AdMob. The free version of the App shows ads served by Google AdMob. To deliver and measure ads, Google may process device/usage information such as a device or advertising identifier, ad-interaction data, coarse location (derived from IP), and diagnostics.

d. Purchases — via Apple. The optional Remove Ads purchase is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment details. (Legal basis: performance of a contract — GDPR Art. 6(1)(b).)
e. Game Center (optional) — via Apple. If you are signed in to Game Center, leaderboards and achievements are handled by Apple under Apple's privacy policy. You can disable Game Center in iOS Settings.
We share data only with the service providers above (TelemetryDeck, Google, Apple), each acting under its own terms and only as needed to run the App. We may disclose information if required by law.
Google and Apple may process data outside your country, including in the United States, under appropriate safeguards (e.g. Standard Contractual Clauses / the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework). TelemetryDeck processing is EU-based.
Anonymous analytics are retained in aggregate for as long as useful to improve the App. Ad and purchase data are retained by Google/Apple per their policies.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. Because our own analytics are anonymous we generally cannot link them to you; for ad-related data, use Settings → Privacy Choices in the App and your device's privacy settings. To exercise rights with us, email privacy@bigridgestudios.com. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
California (CCPA/CPRA): we do not sell or "share" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising without offering the choices required by law; you have rights to know, delete, and opt out.
We may update this policy; we will revise the "Last updated" date and, for material changes, provide notice in the App or store listing.
